The Word of God Changing Personality and Character
There are some philosophical view which states that the character or character traits
cannot be changed, the same as the color of one's skin. It was inborn. Is this
correct? If so, what is the need for a sinner to come to Christ? Did not he will
still be a sinner forever? Is it true that a person's character like properties
that will forever outward attached to that person? Could not change the character
of the holy spirit and character of someone who has been damaged? He who created
man from the dust of the earth, He Could not fix a bad character trait and that
undermine our lives? I have good news for you, Lord Creator, He is also able to
fix a bad character.
There was a boy who told his father that he could never understand the word of God that is in read, let alone memorize. Although it has been repeatedly reminded his father, but the child is still stubborn, "what good is reading something you cannot understand, I cannot even remember ..." said the child, the father and said, "if you have 5 minutes ? Try to take the leaky bucket, then fill the bucket with water ... "The boy refused, because of the leaky bucket. Back to the story of a leaky bucket filled with water, it is not able to accommodate the bucket of water in it, but one is for sure, when the water was allowed to flow, the water carries with it all impurities attached to the bucket. Does not the Bible says: "Whoever believes in me, bleak Scripture says: From within his heart will flow rivers of living water." (John 7:38).
Education can never improve character. Otherwise, definitely big criminals and fraudsters are people who have never tasted bench education. History proves, if a child steals screws and nails on the railroad, and then as the solution we send the child to school education, after graduation, the child will try to steal the whole railroad car. Richness and abundance is also not a solution to fix the character, the evidence most corrupt and criminals in this country is the rich, not the poor, so do not ever think that if I was already rich, I'll be good. The Word of God otherwise could change the character.
